We love to volunteer for community events and organizations, whenever we can!

Our family has been a part of this great community for two generations. We’re lucky enough to work and live in an area full of wonderful people doing amazing things both for each other and the earth. We love to participate in community events and volunteer our time, services and resources when we can.

We volunteer with Friends of Trees. Friends of Trees’ mission is to bring people in the Portland-Vancouver and Eugene-Springfield metro areas together to plant and care for city trees and green spaces. Since Friends of Trees was founded by Richard Seidman in 1989, they have planted more than 450,000 trees and native plants. Thomas Tree Care is proud to partner with Friends of Trees to help to fill the Portland-Vancouver area with healthy, attractive trees.

We volunteer with local high school students restoring the salmon creek water shed by getting rid of invasive species and replanting native trees. We also deliver mulch to many of the area schools for their community garden projects. In the past we have worked with Hazel Dell elementary in clearing an area for their garden.
